Overview
Under direction, maintains the integrity of call center systems (PeopleSoft, Presales, Service Ware, WWW, CMS, SharePoint, Databases etc.). Acts as liaison between Customer Care Center users, application development team(s) and Care Center Management. Leverages deep understanding of technical environments to troubleshoot and maintain a high level of system availability and reliability. Responsible for documenting and supporting various applications to meet the functional requirements of the Care Center Operations group.
Responsibilities
- Maintain software applications; perform modifications and upgrades in a controlled development environment to minimize compromising system integrity
- Update and maintain database SSIS Jobs
- Testing of new programs or enhancements
- Support and assist users
- Analyze user requests and requirements
- To develop project documentation and plans, including goals and timelines
- Develop new functionality within existing suite of applications in support of organizational goals
Qualifications
- In addition to a high school diploma, specialized or technical knowledge is needed which may be obtained in high school business or shop courses or by a relatively brief period of intensive post high school education
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle or MS SQL Server)
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- One to two years related experience required
- Understanding and implementation of basic Telecom including voice response, fax and internet technologies
- Travel 10-15% to vendor training or shows, etc.
- The ability to understand and convey complex technical details
- The ability to troubleshoot complex problems and develop hardware and software solutions is an essential skillfor this position
- Strong organizational, analytical and diagnostic ability
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
