Program Analyst - ALRE
This position is Contingent Upon Contract Award
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for an ARLE Specialist who will be a key support to the CVN Carrier Availability Support Team, located in Norfolk, VA.
Job Description:
  • Provide support for availability planning, execution and development of work packages and Availability Work Integration and scheduling onboard Aircraft Carriers in the NIMITZ and FORD class.
  • Provide analysis and problem resolution that align with current technical requirements, periodicities and associated configurations within each assigned CMP maintenance requirement to include integration of PMS Force Revisions.
  • Perform applicable briefings with ships force representatives on applicable assessment and/or assist plan of action and results.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience to include:
    • Providing technical support for the development and management of the non-nuclear CMP, BAWPs and modernization for execution during CVN availabilities.
    • CVN availability planning and execution, CSMP management, work progress validation and scheduling.
    • work scheduling and using integration tools such as Ship's Force Integrated Master Scheduling tool.
    • Experience with technical coordination of the following installed or proposed HM&E ship systems including repairs, alterations, assessments, inspections and casualty reports: auxiliary machinery and support equipment (except ALRE, propulsion plant machinery and boilers), hull and piping systems and cargo/weapons elevator systems.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Power Point to support development and updates of relevant materials.
  • Must have at least 8 years' experience and proficiency in Navy information systems to include OMMS-NG.
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience providing the periodic reports and data collection.
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience in the use of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) system for availability tracking and the knowledge of the NNSY shipyard shops.
  • Must have experience in providing professional briefings senior naval officers and civilians with regard to shipboard systems, equipment status and recommending a course of action to repair.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a CAC and maintain a clearance.
Travel Requirements:
  • Must possess a current US Passport for possible OCONUS travel with the capacity to go underway for extended periods, as required.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
