Description
Performs mammography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Qualifications
Required LicensesOther
* Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in Radiography* Current licensure in the State of Kentucky to practice as a radiation operator* Team member must become registered as a mammography tech thru the ARRT within2 years of starting the role
* Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in Radiography* Current licensure in the State of Kentucky to practice as a radiation operator* Team member must become registered as a mammography tech thru the ARRT within2 years of starting the role
Required SkillsCertifications:* Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
