Job Description
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks.
- May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- Manages computer operations in conjunction with database administrators, system administrators, and various data center personnel.
- Ensures production schedules are met.
- Ensures computer system resources are used effectively.
- Coordinates the resolution of production-related problems. Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
- Provides users with computer output.
- Supervises staff operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area within DoD/Navy programs, plus at least 3 years of managerial experience.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
