We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, a Systems Programming Manager! This position will create, modify, and maintain software in compliance with DoD.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Create and maintain DoD Security Compliance in relation to operation systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, assemblers, and utility programs
• Modify existing software and create special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications
• Obtain business requirements from key stakeholders at Ft Eustis and throughout CONUS
• Maintain project schedules and provide regular updates on status of break/fix actions, projects, and continual improvement initiatives
• Lead a small team to include setting priorities, tracking hours spent on projects, and mentoring
• Perform testing on all system changes prior to production, as well as follow approved Change Management Processes
• Coordinate with appropriate DoD Cloud Integrators
• Perform data analysis in support of organization business processes and reporting
• Create Entity Relationship Diagrams
• Perform other related duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline, and at least five (5) years of experience, three (3) of which must include IT systems analysis and programming. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field may supplement one year of specialized experience and two (2) years of general experience. A CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
