The Opportunity
Building on top of the data layer, the team is responsible for delivering a rationalized set of core services. We are starting with foundational elements such as Identity, Profile, Segmentation, and edge components for real-time data capture and decisioning, and lay the foundation for higher-level services required for our Experience Business vision. We will run and maintain high traffic, high visibility applications with immense amounts of data and solve challenging scaling problems.
What you'll Do
Integrate and improve Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities.
Develop and deploy critical parts of the services and deliver to production.
Articulate the choice towards an accurate tool, technology.
Translate high level requirements to meaningful tasks/actions.
Work well in a dynamic, fast paced team.
What you need to succeed
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
9+ years of industry software development experience
Hands-on experience on open source technologies Spark, Hadoop Stack, Kafka
Proven record of delivering highly optimized code in Scala/Java
Proven experience on working with NoSQL databases, preferably HBase and Cassandra
Proficiency in data structures, algorithms
Additional experience that will be a plus
Experience with Containers, CI/CD systems like Argo CD, Git Ops
Experience with other big data tech stacks
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
