Overview

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB's Virginia Beach, VA offices is looking for a talented Traffic Intern to join us! This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, across diverse disciplines, giving you exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope.

Responsibilities

    Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner
  • Review and summarize planning documents and studies
  • Prepare clearly organized traffic safety and engineering reports and technical memos to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Team oriented with strong capability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in civil engineering

Hiring Salary Range: $19/hr - $28/hr. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
