Field Service Technician

Location: 100% Remote covering primary territory of: Boston, MA/Northwestern US - some national travel may be required

What you can expect:

  • Changing Lives - As a Field Service Technician, you install, maintain, consult, train and service the entire Hearing and Balance product line. You can expect to provide industry-best technical support on computer-based medical instrumentation.
  • When all else fails, you're the one to call! - You can expect to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair PC, network, and proprietary hardware and software issues onsite at hospitals and clinics when other measures have failed
  • Training - you may not know the ins and outs of medical device products, but quality is important to you, and you are hungry to learn our quality system and be part of this meaningful industry
  • Career Development - the longer you work with us, the more you learn and develop skills for roles in our other areas like Technical Services people management, Sales, and Operations
  • Road Warrior - You are on the road extensively to help our hospital and clinic customers because face to face is critical to train effectively and to set up product implementations for success. This will be an opportunity to see the country and work for a company dedicated to patient care.
  • Work Schedule:
    • Fulltime, working hours Mondays - Fridays
    • Occasional travel on weekends on client need basis

Minimum Requirements:

  • College Diploma or 2 years field service technician experience; combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Working knowledge of audio systems and electronics repair
  • Working knowledge of PC hardware, software - configurations, trouble shooting and maintenance
  • Working knowledge of remote control Software packages log-me-in 123, etc; CRM packages; & Microsoft Office
  • Basic TCP/IP and multicast knowledge
  • Strong interest in the latest technology and trends and customer service mindset
  • Ability to travel extensively: Must hold a valid driver's license and have a driving record showing zero felony convictions and less than three moving violations in the previous three years
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
