Job Description

Overall team lead within the Dell Azure Stack HCI environment with an understanding of the customers vision and business problems. Leverages Dell engineering teams as needed on technical issues and relays changes and best practices to broader Dell team. You will work with both Azure Stack HCI service providers and Dept. of Navy (DON) stakeholders (PEO Digital, NNWC, etc.) to coordinate and support the Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms across DON landscape (ashore, afloat, CONUS, OCONUS). This role requires a self-motivated, can-do individual with a high degree of initiative to bring their knowledge and expertise to help develop roadmap, approaches, and solutions (technical and non-technical) to deliver Dell Azure Stack HCI capability to effectively support the DON mission. Primary responsibilities:

Be the team lead across DON Area of Responsibility (AOR). This is a supervisory position, reporting to the program manager; responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget; manage to cost and schedule objectives.
Interface with senior military and government leadership through regular communications and active engagement to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that projects are progressing as planned; support technical exchange meetings with DON stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance to your team including helping them troubleshoot issues, advice on best practices, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their jobs effectively.
Manage the performance of your team including setting goals and expectations, providing feedback, and coaching, and addressing performance issues as they arise.
Support the planning and development of the overall strategy for your team in support of Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms. This will involve collaborating with other stakeholders to identify goals and objectives, developing plans to achieve them, and ensuring that your team is aligned with the Navy's overall strategy.
Responsible for ensuring that the team maintains a consistent environment globally following Dell best practices while operating and maintaining the infrastructure.
Provide subject matter expertise and assist in development of services and deliverables to support Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms.
Support the preparation phase of Dell Azure Stack HCI adoption in identifying and documenting functional and technical requirements definition.
Lead research and evaluation of current market trends, best practices, and architectural approach to meet customer needs.
Manage project work to cost and schedule objectives, support service migration planning to Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms.
Support development and sustainment of O&M processes and procedures (e.g., SOP) for Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms.
Provide technical support to verify the capability and operation of Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms.
Develop, update, and provide input on Dell Azure Stack HCI support tools and documentation.

Job Requirements

DoD 8140 Enterprise Architect role certification (at least one of the following) - CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)+ CE, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cloud +, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), CISSP Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Required)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (Desired)
Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (Desired)
An active DoD Secret clearance
Experience/Skills

10+ years overall IT experience.
5+ years providing operations and administration support of enterprise IT systems and services.
1+ years serving in a technical lead position providing subject matter expert support in DoD (DON preferred).
Working experience with Azure Stack HCI technology (Dell-based preferred)
Working experience with PowerShell.
Working experience with Microsoft Windows Admin Center (WAC).
Working experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktops.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Arc.
Working knowledge of Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC)
Working knowledge of Dell OpenManage Integration with Microsoft WAC.
Working knowledge of networking technologies (layer 2, layer 3)
Strong communication skills capable of communicating technical concepts to audience with broad range of knowledge and experience.
Able to travel up to 25% in support of Navy operational requirements.
Able to obtain US passport.
