Electrical Engineering Intern

Job Description
The Electrical Engineering Intern will work collaboratively with our Electrical Engineering Team and Engineering Product Teams of designers and engineers to design components and system solutions for a variety of projects. The Electrical Engineering Intern will assist in developing engineering design solutions and report directly to the Manager of Electrical Engineering.

JOB FUNCTIONS
Include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in electrical engineering design and documentation for compressor packages.
- Assist in PLC programming.
- Assist in C, C#, and Python programming.
- Assist with tasks utilizing standard electrical engineering design programs.
- Participate in continuous electrical engineering design improvement efforts.
- Present solutions to electrical engineering challenges related to projects.
- Help solve electrical engineering-related problems, which are revealed in real world such as assembly, test, quality assurance and service; analyze and recommend solutions to electrical and controls related problems.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned by managers.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with electrical motor controls and PLC systems.
- Basic knowledge of software development.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Results oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
