Logistician II/III
Purpose:
  • This position is to provide Integrated Product and Provisioning Support for modernization and upgrade initiatives for Ship Self Defense Systems (SSDS) by providing technical support with various Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
Job Description:
  • Manage and track all provisioning actions to completion for Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) packages submitted to Navy Supply Weapon System Support (NAVSUP WSS).
  • Provide administrative and technical support in the development, tracking, and processing of SCDs.
  • Develop and manage Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) to support the development and maintenance of Allowance Parts List (APLs) for Ship Self-Defense Systems (SSDS) baselines.
  • Provide support and coordination for the installation and evaluation of specific shipboard changes.
  • Work with various engineering departments to coordinate and implement engineering and schedules changes.
  • Facilitate, attend, and participate in virtual and physical meetings, conferences, working groups, etc.
  • Provide administrative quality checks for engineering drawings.
  • A hybrid teleworking option is available.
Qualifications
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Project and Excel)
  • Must have experience working with SSDS or Shipboard systems.
Desired Requirements
  • Experience with Naval Engineering TDPs.
  • Experience with NSDER.
  • Must have 3 plus years of experience with naval systems and/or SSDS.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance.
  • Must maintain clearance eligibility to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
Travel Requirements:
  • Less than 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
  • Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
  • Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
