Strategic Revenue Management is a critical function designed to unlock and redeploy trapped value across five key levers (Pricing, Promotion, Mix, Terms, PPA). Our success criteria are to fuel COTY Net Revenue and Margin improvement through these levers providing answers to the demands of shoppers and internal stakeholders alike.

Our Manager SRM Enablement will harness data, analytics, and digital potential translating into actionable Tools and Capabilities. These analytical solutions are expected to increase demand and drive informed decisions about pricing, distribution, and inventory management, aiming to maximize COTY revenue and profitability. Identifying internal waste based on our internal capabilities and process is another success criteria. We augment our core approach to revenue growth management with next-generation capabilities through the sophisticated use of AI and advanced data and analytics to develop decision support tools that enable cross-functional teams to tackle their toughest inefficiency challenges.

The Manager SRM Enablement role is critical in providing tangible enablers to deliver against the Coty US long-term profitable growth agenda to balance price and mix growth higher than the industry. This role will serve as link between Global and local initiatives and facilitate the accomplishment of key objectives by providing in-depth research and clear recommendations. Specifically, this role will support multiple centralized business analytical capabilities to build a fully integrated growth model to drive the business objectives by identifying priorities and glidepath with a very strong business acumen on how to drive the financial viability of strategic plans.

Successful candidate is an independent, resourceful, and thought-provoking individual, who will lead the Coty revenue growth management agenda. This role requires robust analytical, project management, and end to end thinking skill set.

This role plays a key leadership position in the business, supporting the Strategic Revenue Management and Commercial teams in driving discipline around SRM, commercial planning, customer planning and performance management:

  • Driving internal and external relationship building capabilities, processes, and tools in the SRM space to accelerate data insights into commercial action.
  • Building long term robust strategies rooted in facts and data and may contradict existing thinking. Challenging the status quo/Visionary thinking & strong assertiveness skills
  • Influence the annual direction for the business and how to gain market share by balancing priorities and financial commitments. Input a direction on categories and brands portfolio strategy based on key bets. Partner with Global Brand Leads to drive brand strategies, partner with finance on P&L targets.
  • Ensuring the pricing agenda and related SRM processes run efficiently to optimize revenue and profitability.

Management Responsibility:

  • Leads by example and elevates SRM team culture by crafting a high-energy, positive environment.
  • Works closely and establishes strong working relationships with the Local and Global Leadership Team, driving accountability to implement the SRM agenda.
  • Coordinates with Business Intelligence team to help with tactical elements of the role, including tools, reporting, reconciliation, as well as analytical support where appropriate.
  • Define, test, and prove how advanced data collection and analysis, AI, digital supply chain, and other enhancements will create value-before expanding or embedding these capabilities in your operating model.

Top Accountabilities:

Strategic Revenue Management:

  • Execute against the strategic and annual financial planning commitments for Strategic Revenue Management
  • Deliver SRM value price/mix/margin ahead of AOP targets, driven by industry leading capabilities
  • Pilot and launch O9 requiring integrated data, advanced analytics, and planning platform transforming commercial, marketing, and supply chain decision-making at global enterprises for digital age speed and scale
  • Pilot and launch BluePlanner TPM capability
  • Develop granular outlet level capabilities beginning with store master and a 'Sell more, Return less' dashboards and supporting process
  • Build Mix Management (ProfitMaxx)capabilities to maximize brand or customer accretive rate delivery
  • Standardize pricing models, while building dynamic scenario building capabilities.
  • Lead centralized scorecard and dashboard team
  • Support end to end internal process improvement opportunities to remove inefficiency
  • Works closely with Finance, Trade Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Sales to develop, deliver, and complete the plan, including contingencies and gap closure.

Commercial Excellence:

  • Develop strong partnership with our local/global IT, Digital, and Analytics teams. Translate data into actionable commercial enablers leading to direct impact on our P&L and efficiency goals.
  • Create lasting partnership with Supply Chain, Sales, and Trade Marketing teams to understand root cause issues and creative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • Graduate with minimum 3-5 years of Business (RGM, Planning, Sales, Finance) experience
  • Strong expertise in P&L and Revenue Growth Management levers, management, and impact on value chain
  • Advanced Analytics personal or team leadership experience. Technical Skills including SQL, DBMS, ETL, Python, R (Tidyverse), ML (Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, K-means, KNN), Tableau, Power BI, SPSS, STATA, MS Office, Visio
  • Strong leader and coach with direct team management experience and proven succession results
  • Project Management experience across highly complex initiatives across multiple functions and stakeholders. Able to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Growth mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly agile at influencing senior leaders

Desirable:

  • Local U.S. market and Beauty industry experience preferred
  • People Leadership of medium sized direct teams and large indirect teams. Strong focus on indirect people management and peer-level influencing
  • Strong capabilities of out-of-the-box thinking and innovation
