Performs essential activities to achieve quality standards and as required by safety protocols or accreditation standards. Assumes a leadership role in staff development and serves as subject matter expert in areas of expertise linking staff training, education and development to strategic imperatives. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards and to coach or teach others specific to the designated specialty. Works collaboratively as a team leader with facility/division leaders, physicians, other department personnel and community healthcare providers to achieve high quality and high satisfaction healthcare outcomes for patients.
Associate's Degree with 2 years additional experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree is acceptable. Licensed professionals are required to keep their professional license current. 3 years experience clinical/business sectors required.
