Travel Possible M1 is looking for a(n) Supply Technician Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work requires consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: * (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines * (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and * (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines Qualifications and Experience: * Knowledge of governing Military supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines is required. * Experience with the following systems of OOMA, NALCOMIS, FEDLOG, ONE TOUCH SUPPORT, DSS-MRO DLA Tracking System, and other applicable procurement systems. * High School diploma or GED is mandatory. * Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred. * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data). * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * May be required to obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements. * Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. * Ability to travel * Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous and professional manner. * Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position. * Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in aviation maintenance or supply or have completed formal DOD (USN, USA, USAF, USMC) training or training courses conducted by industry or civilian institutions * Must have a thorough knowledge of the packaging, storage, shipment, and transfer of property and supplies. * Must have a thorough knowledge of DOD property accountability procedures, forms, and records - USN experience Preferred. * Must have a working knowledge of the DOD supply system pertaining to aircraft parts, components, materials, and applicable maintenance/technical publications -- USN experience Preferred. * Must be able to read, interpret and follow technical manuals, directives, oral and written instructions, and other applicable data. * Must have knowledge of elementary arithmetic: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. * Must be familiar with general office concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be computer literate. * Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and have the ability to work with others to effect solutions to ordinary situations/problems. Must have excellent communication skills (oral & written). Must be able to plan and prioritize work assignments with little or no supervision. Working Conditions: * Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
