We are seeking a Team Lead to join our team in our Norfolk, VA location. Join our team as a Assertive Community Treatment Team Leader!

Earn $39.76/hour.

Position Details

The team leader oversees the Assertive Community Treatment Team, guiding them in providing essential treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients with severe and persistent mental health illnesses. They supervise and assess the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality services and respectful interactions with clients. Additionally, they actively participate as a clinician within the team.

  • Establish, administer, and direct the program of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team
  • Supervise and evaluate the multidisciplinary team to ensure service excellence
  • Provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients with severe and persistent mental health illnesses
  • Function as a practicing clinician on the team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed as an LPC or LCSW.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counselor Education.
  • Three years of experience in the provision of mental health services to adults with serious mental illness.
  • Supervisory and program management experience is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Experience with a co-occurring population preferred.
  • Valid Driver's Licenses and access to own vehicle. The role requires travel across the Tidewater region to provide support.
