What You'll Do

This position provides strategic, technical, program, and resource management to the Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E) Program Office (JPO). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates with OSD, the Services, and Joint Staff.
  • Provides day-to-day execution and management of all assigned JT&E projects.
  • Develops test concepts, test scenarios, test designs, test products, and identifies candidate test venues and resource requirements for JT&E projects.
  • Conducts research and coordination and writes program test plans and detailed test plans.
  • Develops, refines, and maintains project schedules, including allocation of resources and identification of project tasks and milestones.
  • Performs technical risk assessment, identifies test limitations, and assists in developing risk mitigation strategies for JT&E project planning.
  • Participate, coordinate, provide status reports, and make recommendations in program-level review boards, including engineering, configuration, risk, and test review boards.
  • Travel may be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a technical discipline such as engineering, science, or computer science or engineering.
  • Experience in designing tests and evaluations, determining measures of effectiveness, applying risk analysis, analyzing and interpreting empirical data, and obtaining objective data for acquisition decisions, evaluations, and system comparisons.
  • Ability to develop point papers, briefings and presentations, and make formal oral presentations of these materials to all levels of government personnel, including O-6 and civilian equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • United States Citizen
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience and knowledge of models and simulations (M&S) to aid in developing and testing TTP as part of a Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (JLVC) environment.
  • Experience operating or testing in an LVC environment and developing M&S services requirements to meet test event objectives.
  • Experience advising and assisting the development of M&S verification, validation, and accreditation planning activities.
