Job Description
Printpack is seeking a Performance Systems Manager in Villa Rica, GA. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Printpack Performance System as it relates to pre-established standards for production, waste, quality, and safety.

This position will also be responsible for helping set long-term goals for the departments to meet the business goals of the plant. This will be accomplished by the continued development and execution of Printpack's Performance System.

A successful candidate will have the ability to learn quickly, create complex data calculations, and effectively communicate numerical data for more informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the Performance System across all departments and teams in the plant in partnership with the Plant Steering Team.
  • Facilitate team activity through methodology, disciplined review, and roadblock resolution.
  • Communicate and present key findings related to the Performance System.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for Performance System teams in several disciplines:
    • DMAIC project execution
    • Daily Management Systems
    • 5S
    • Autonomous maintenance and reliability
    • Training development and deployment
  • Collect and analyze data using analytical or statistical methods to support plant improvements.
  • Create and improve upon procedures and standards, or initiate new ones, for improved safety, quality, and production.
  • Provide leadership to Managers, Leads, and associates. Ensure all company and local policies and practices are followed in a consistent, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Support the teamwork of all departments working effectively together to achieve external customer reliability and satisfaction.
  • Development of projects for improvement across the plant.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS Diploma / GED
  • Process improvement experience (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Milliken Performance System, etc.)
  • 2+ years of team leadership and/or process development experience
