Job Title: Finance Intern
Location: Latrobe, PA

Finance Intern reports to the Director, FP&A but will be on a rotation program. The rotation includes:

Rotation 1: Corporate FP&A

Rotation 2: Corporate Controlling/Accounting

Rotation 3: Finance Transformation

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in accurate and timely consolidated reporting of financial results for the executive leadership team
  • Assist with the planning process by providing analysis of key expense and balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and/or analyze general ledger accounts, system interfaces, and journal entries
  • Prepare a high volume of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and quarterly
  • Prepare standard reports and assist in more complex analysis as required, with some reporting and analyses being shared with corporate management for internal and external reporting and corporate income tax purposes
  • Assist in complex financial projects and with internal and external audits of financial records, systems, and operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all financial policies, closing schedules, and budget and forecast deliverables
  • Report and reconcile the accounting processes for critical and complex transaction areas - includes accounting research and implementation support.
  • Operate systems and use technology within learned field.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Ability to perform detailed analyses with close attention to detail with quick turnaround
  • Adaptable to a fast paced working environment
  • Exceeds at time management
  • Organized and Efficient
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
