I&C Electrical Planner - 12 Months

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will fill a position as an I&C Electrical Planner for the Surry Digital I&C Program. The Digital I&C project is a 10+ year effort as part of Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) to upgrade safety and non-safety-related analog systems to digital and transform the main control room to flat panel displays and controls. This role works with a cross-functional team of station stakeholders, project leads, and project managers to evaluate modifications to the plant design.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• 5-10 years of experience
• Associate degree or applicable planning experience
• Nuclear experience is required.
• Nuclear Electrical Mods Planning Experience
• Ability to read and interpret plant drawings and design packages
• MUST have Maximo/PAMs experience (this is the software we use for planning)

Nice to Have Skills/Knowledge in:

• UPS battery systems
• HVAC
• Fire Protection
• Computer networks
• Digital I/O
• Fiber/Electrical connections
• Conduit
