The Opportunity:

Mattel is looking for an in-house YouTube global paid media analyst to work across the full brand portfolio. The role is responsible for analyzing YouTube data in order to build reports and provide recommendations to the Mattel paid YouTube team. We are looking for a team player to collaborate with the larger organization and external partners to deliver across all YouTube Channel & Viewership KPIs.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Analyze campaign performance, evaluate and interpret data, and prepare detailed reports on findings with actionable insights

  • Partner closely with the media buyers to provide recommendations for optimizations against media KPIs ultimately influencing media strategies

  • Ensure KPIs are met, while also maintaining CPV efficiency

  • Research YouTube trends and provide updates to the Mattel paid YouTube team and Mattel marketing organization

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis

  • Collaborate with internal IMC teams to implement data-driven strategies and creative alignment to improve overall Mattel YouTube performance

  • Manage a database of media metrics and perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure data accuracy and reliability


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related preferred

  • 1+ Years YouTube Media analytics & execution required; Toy/Kid, Entertainment or Retail experience a plus

  • Knowledge of YouTube platform, Google Ads, Google's Display & Video 360 Software, and YouTube analytics platforms

  • Experience with YouTube partners such as Zefr and Channel Factory are a plus

  • Skilled at Microsoft Excel Reporting (calculations, pivot tables, etc.). Google Data Studio experience a plus

  • Demonstrated agrowth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $71,200 and $87,000
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
