Provide support to the company’s rapid growth and strategic plan objectives for a mid-size federal government services contractor with revenues in excess of $150 million. Position reports directly to the CFO. Essential Job Functions: Functional areas of responsibility and oversight include Contracts, Subcontracts, Pricing and Government Property. Manages a staff of 8 professionals including 3 managers. Provides mentorship, training and career planning. Develops and maintains department infrastructure based on industry best practices. Works closely with operations and line management and supports business unit leadership (Sector Managers). Plays a critical role in risk management by ensuring cradle-to-grave compliance with contractual obligations, from RFP to close-out. Acts as primary company interface with the Defense Contract Management Agency. Participates in M&A activities as required including planning, due diligence and integration. Required Skills: A minimum of 18 years of relevant contracts and subcontracts management experience in a federal contracting environment with a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience should include leadership positions at companies with revenues greater than $250 million. A minimum of 10 years working as member of executive leadership team developing strategies for new business. Record of being highly engaged with a hands-on management approach and lead-by-example style. Outstanding business acumen and analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills. Expert knowledge of the FAR and agency supplements as well as a strong working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions. (mandatory). Extensive experience in audit execution and business system review with DCAA and DCMA. Significant experience in the formation and negotiation of complex contracts and subcontracts, joint venture agreements, mentor-protégé agreements, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other agreements routinely used in the government services sector. Extensive knowledge of all contract types (FPP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, Labor Hour, T&M, etc.) and vehicles (IDIQ, GSA, BPA, BOA, GWAC, etc.). Significant experience in proposal pricing including development of innovative price-to-win strategies. Desired Skills: Experience with estimating and purchasing system reviews. (strongly preferred). M&A due diligence and integration experience. (strongly preferred). Experience in international contracting. (strongly preferred.) Experience with Deltek Costpoint. (preferred). Active Top Secret clearance is a plus. | |
