|
To guide the evolution, development and governance of the Navy Federal Enterprise Architecture with a specific focus on the Business Architecture. Leads the development of specific Business Architectures and their sub-components (i.e., business processes, current and future state analysis, etc). Seeks opportunities to integrate Enterprise Architecture governance with the governance processes of other complementary frameworks within the organization. Authors architectural documents to identify strategic intent and acquires a deep knowledge of Navy Federal business processes. Acts as a subject matter expert in a wide array of business and technology domains.
Required: * Experience authoring, assessing and evolving business architectures, including documenting the architecture according to best practices in Enterprise Architecture (use of a major framework and/or methodology)
* Extensive experience in business process management including business process management notation, business process management tools/software suites, business process assessment and related business process disciplines
* Demonstrated ability to move comfortably between detailed technical discussions, businessoriented and executive discussions to understand and convey complex technical issues in an effective way
* Demonstrated experience in business process mapping and re-engineering
* Strong ability to work effectively with different levels of staff, management and stakeholders to balance the frequently changing information needs of the business, with maximizing the length of Information Technology investments
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated results-oriented leadership and facilitation skills
* Superior relationship building skills
* Broad and enterprise-wide view of the business and its relationships to Information Technology
* Thorough understanding of life cycle methodologies including Scrum and other Agile approaches, as well as integrating those methodologies into existing organizational best practices
* Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
* Ability to visualize and create high level solutions that integrate the strategic needs of the business, with real world Information Technology capabilities
* Ability to evangelize the need for resilient and reusable Information Technology infrastructure, so that Information Technology is pre-positioned for future and unanticipated Navy Federal business needs
* Bachelors Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Desired: * Knowledge of Navy Federals mission, objectives and functions
* Previous experience in the banking industry
* Knowledge of at least one industry-leading business process management product such as IDS Scheer ARIS or IBM Business Project Management Suite (BPMS)
* Knowledge of business architectures and business process documentation standards
* Demonstrated experience doing business cases and cost analysis
* Demonstrated thought leadership through applicable associations, authored whitepapers or leading seminars
* Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3
* Knowledge of the Zachman Framework and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) v8 or v9
* Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with extensive knowledge of the Project Management Framework (PMF) |
